How do we restrict users from punching in and out when they are not in the building?
IP Restrictions can easily be set up from the Time-Clock module.
Here's how to set the restrictions:
- Time-Clock Module
- IP Restrictions on the left navigation pane
- Enable IP Restrictions
- Add Allowed IP Addresses (Users can only punch in from listed IP addresses)
- Set Allowed Users (Specific users can be granted unrestricted access to allow them to punch in from any IP address)
To find the IP Addresses on any computer simply type in "What's my IP" in any browser from the computer in question.
