Approval Hierarchy

Our Employees have multiple Managers who need to approve time-off requests.  How do I set the sequence for the approval process?

Approval Hierarchy settings can easily be set within the User Setting page for each user. 

Once logged in as Administrator, follow these steps:

  1. Time-Off Module
  2. Manage Users
  3. User List
  4. Select User
  5. Edit User Settings
  6. Approval Hierarchy Tab
  7. Change Drop Down List Option to one of three options:
    • Any Manager - Any one of the available managers can approve the request.  Only one approval is required.
    • X out of Y Managers - A Certain number of possible managers must approve the request for it to be approved.
    • Specific sequence - Manager must approve the request in a specific order for it to be approved
​​​X out of Y Managers and Specific Sequence will only show for users with more than one assigned manager
