Adding iCal Link To Google Calendar
You can sync your PurelyHR Time-Off™ calendar with Google Calendar to easily view upcoming time off alongside your meetings, appointments, and reminders.
Step 1: Retrieve your iCalendar link in PurelyHR
- Go to iCalendar Setup in the left-hand menu.
- Select your time zone and click Save.
- Copy either your Default iCalendar Link or a Customized Calendar Link.

Default iCalendar Link → Includes your own requests, company holidays, and special event dates.

Customized Calendar Link → Choose the details you want to display, including:
- Requests – Your requests only, or all requests in your organization
- Comments – Show or hide comments on time-off requests
- Holidays – Display paid company holidays
- Events – Display special event days
- Time-Off Types – Select which time-off types you want to display
Step 2: Add your iCalendar link to Google Calendar
- Sign in to your Google account and open Google Calendar.
- On the left, next to Other Calendars, click Add (+) → From URL.
- Paste your iCal link from PurelyHR and click Add Calendar.
- Your PurelyHR calendar will now appear under Other Calendars. Toggle the checkbox to show or hide it.
💡 Tip: Use a customized calendar link if you want full control over what appears in your Google Calendar.
