How can I change the colors of the requests in the calendar?

You can customize how requests appear in your calendar by choosing whether they’re color-coded by User Department or by Time-Off Type.


Change Calendar Color Settings

  1. Go to Account Settings.
  2. Click on Calendar.
  3. Under Calendar Color Type Settings, select either:
    1. User Department Colors
    2. Time-Off Type Colors
  4. Click Save Changes.

Change Time-Off Type Colors

  1. Go to Time-Off Module → Settings → Time-Off Types.
  2. Click Edit next to the type you want to update.
  3. Select a new color and save.

Change Department Colors

  1. Go to Staff Module → Departments.
  2. Select the department you want to update.
  3. Choose a color and save.

💡 Tip: Use department colors if you want to easily distinguish teams, or time-off type colors if you want to quickly see the reason for absences (like vacation vs. sick leave).
