Canceling a Time Off Request

Plans change, and PurelyHR makes it easy to cancel time-off requests that have already been submitted or approved. You can cancel a single day, multiple days, or a partial request.

Canceling a Single or Multiple Day Request

After logging into your account, you have two ways to cancel a request:

Option 1: From the Calendar

  1. Click on the request in your calendar.
  2. If the request is in the past, select Request Cancellation(s).
  3. If the request is in the future and your account allows it, select Cancel.

Option 2: From the Time-Off Summary

  1. Go to Time-Off Summary in the left menu.
  2. Find the request under Time-Off Requests and select View Info.
  3. If the request is in the past, select Request Cancellation.
  4. If the request is in the future and allowed, select Cancel.

Canceling a Single Day within a Multiple-Day Request

Option 1: From the Calendar

  1. Click on the request in your calendar.
  2. Use the View Request For drop-down to select the specific date.
  3. Follow the same steps as above depending on whether the date is in the past or future.

Option 2: From the Time-Off Summary

  1. Go to Time-Off Summary in the left menu.
  2. Select the request under Time-Off Requests and click View Info.
  3. Use the View Request For drop-down to select the specific date.
  4. Follow the same steps as above.

Note: For Managers and Administrators, the Time-Off Summary is located under the Reports section.
