How to cancel a request that was already submitted or approved?
Changing plans? Sometimes it happens, this article will show you the steps on how to cancel a request that was already approved or submitted into PurelyHR.
Here’s how to cancel a single, partial, or Multiple day requests:
After login into your account, you will have two possibilities to cancel a Time-Off Request.
First option:
- Click on the request within the calendar.
- If the request is in the past select “Request Cancellation(s)”.
- If the request is in the future and your account is set to allow you to cancel a request select “Cancel”.
Second option:
- Select Time-Off Summary on the left side menu.
- Find your request under “Time-Off Requests”
- Select View Info
- If the request is in the past select “Request Cancellation”
- If the request is in the future and you are allowed to cancel a request select “Cancel”.
Here’s how to cancel a single day within a multiple day requests:

- Select the date you are looking to cancel from the date drop-down menu “View Request For”.
- If the request is in the past select “Request Cancellation”
- If the request is in the future and you are allowed to cancel a request select “Cancel”.

- Select Time-Off Summary on the left side menu.
- Find your request under “Time-Off Requests”
- Select View Info
- Select the date you are looking to cancel from the date drop-down menu “View Request For”.
- If the request is in the past select “Request Cancellation”
- If the request is in the future and you are allowed to cancel a request select “Cancel”.
*Note: For Managers and Administrators you will find the Time-Off Summary under the “Reports” option.
