Completing Your Self-Review in PurelyHR

Self-reviews give you the opportunity to reflect on your progress, performance, and achievements — and to share your thoughts directly with your manager.

You’ll receive an email notification when your manager or administrator requests a self-review. You can access your self-review either from that email or from Staff™ → My Reviews.


Accessing Your Self-Review

From the email notification:

  1. Select Log in to PurelyHR.
  2. Sign in with your credentials.
  3. Go to the Staff™ module.
  4. Select My Reviews from the left-hand menu.

From within PurelyHR:

  1. Sign in to PurelyHR.
  2. Go to Staff™ → My Reviews.

On the My Reviews screen, you’ll see a list of current and past reviews.

  • Next to the review you want to complete, click the Edit (pencil) icon to begin.


Filling Out Your Self-Review

Self-reviews consist of a questionnaire and may include several optional sections, depending on your account settings.

Possible Sections

  1. Introduction (mandatory)

    • Overview of the self-review process and due date.

    • Click Save & Continue to begin.

  2. Goals (optional)

    • Shows goals completed or due during the review period.

    • Add comments and click Save & Continue.

  3. Skills (optional)

    • Lists skills from your Staff™ profile and any progress updates.

    • Add comments and click Save & Continue.

  4. Feedback (optional)

    • Displays 360 Degree Feedback shared with you during the review period (self, peer, or manager).

    • Add comments and click Save & Continue.

  5. Notes (optional)

    • Shows notes shared with you in Staff™ during the review period.

    • Add comments and click Save & Continue.

  6. Attendance (optional)

    • If your company uses Time-Off™, shows time-off taken during the review period.

    • Add comments and click Save & Continue.

  7. Warnings (optional)

    • If your company uses Warnings™, shows all warnings issued during the review period (accepted or declined).

    • Add comments and click Save & Continue.

  8. Questionnaire (mandatory)

    • Set by your account administrator; required questions are marked with an asterisk (*).

    • Complete all required fields and click Save & Continue.

  9. Conclusion (mandatory)

    • Add a final comment on your overall progress.

    • View your next scheduled review date.

    • Click Finalize to submit. Note: Once finalized, you can no longer make changes.


After You Submit

  • Your manager will be notified via email.

  • They can review your responses and add comments.


Adding Your Signature (if required)

If your self-review requires a signature, you’ll receive an email once your manager has finished their review.

To sign:

  1. Go to Staff™ → My Reviews.
  2. Find the review with Awaiting Signature status.
  3. Click the View icon.
  4. On the Summary page, click the red pencil icon under Employee Signature.
  5. Enter your name and click Save.

✅ You have now completed your self-review!
