Create a New Performance Review

Learn how to start the performance review process, create templates, set review periods, enable self-reviews, and track employee responses.

Steps to Create a Performance Review

1. Access Performance Reviews

  • From the Main Menu, select Performance Reviews.
  • Click Create Review.

2. Select Employee

  • Choose the employee you want to review.

3. Enable Self-Review (Optional)

  • If you want employees to review themselves, enable the Self-Review option.
  • Once completed, employee comments will be shared with their manager(s).
  • Managers can then provide their own comments.

4. Set Due Date

  • Select a due date for the review.
  • This determines when reminder emails are sent.

5. Select Review Date Range

  • Choose the period you want to review.
  • The date range determines what information is pulled from other modules (e.g., notes, warnings, time off).
  • Example: Selecting the past 6 months includes all related data for that timeframe.

6. Select a Template

  • Choose a review template.
  • Templates can be customized by department, office, or team.
  • Note: Only administrators can create templates.

7. Start Review

  • Click Start Review.
  • The employee will access the review from the Staff™ module under My Reviews after completion.

Additional Notes

  • Reminder emails are sent based on the due date.
  • Review templates should be aligned with organizational standards.
  • Self-reviews help encourage employee engagement and transparency.
