May 2026 Release Updates

This release includes onboarding enhancements, usability improvements, and reliability fixes across key areas of PurelyHR.

✅ Enhancement: Clearer Control Over New Hire Onboarding Access

We’ve improved the Automatic Access setting during employee onboarding and clarified how it works, so administrators have better control and visibility over when new hires can access PurelyHR.

With this enhancement, the Automatic Access option now behaves consistently and is easier to understand:

  • When enabled, the new hire can access PurelyHR as soon as onboarding is completed, even if their hire date is in the future.
  • When disabled (recommended), the new hire will only be able to access PurelyHR on their hire date and time. Administrators can still grant access earlier, if needed, directly from the Onboarding List.

We’ve also updated our documentation to clearly explain how this setting works and when each option should be used, helping ensure new hires access the platform at the right time.

No action is required, but we recommend reviewing your onboarding settings to make sure they align with your internal processes.
