Time-Sheet Setup Checklist
When you access Time-Sheet™ for the first time, the account setup checklist will appear to guide you through setting up the module. It will stay in the menu until you click the Roll out to your staff button at the bottom.
✅ Timesheet Setup Checklist
1. Review Account Settings
- Configure timesheet, report, and notification preferences for the module.
2. Review Business Settings
- Set workday hours (used for Paid Holidays calculation).
- Define probation period.
3. Set Up Overtime Rules
- Choose when overtime applies:
- Daily (after X hours per day)
- Weekly (after X hours per week)
4. Set Up Timesheet Periods
- Match timesheets to your pay period:
- Weekly
- Bi-weekly
- Semi-monthly
- Monthly
5. Set Up Custom Periods (if needed)
- For unique timesheet cycles, create custom periods (recommended: 1 year at a time).
6. Configure Timesheet Approval
- Options:
- Auto-Approve: Timesheets approved automatically.
- Any Manager: Any direct manager can approve.
- X out of Y Managers: Define how many managers must approve.
- Sequenced: Approval in a specific order.
Advanced Format Settings (only if Advanced is enabled)
- Default Modules: Create modules to categorize work types.
- Task Statuses: Create status labels for progress tracking.
- Task Priorities: Create color-coded priorities
- Clients: Add clients for billable/non-billable tracking.
- Projects: Create projects for clients.
- Tasks: Create tasks within projects and track progress.
Final Step
- Click Roll out to your staff when setup is complete.
- Employees will see the Time-Sheet™ icon next time they sign in (no email notification).

- To manage who can access Time-Sheet™, go to: Staff™ → Settings → Module Access
