Track Breaks and Lunch

Employees can easily record their Breaks and Lunch during the workday. These options can be customized in the Time-Clock module.

Enable Breaks

  1. Navigate to Time-Clock Module → Account Settings → Break & Lunch.
  2. Enable Break.
  3. If you want to deduct break time from employees’ paid totals, toggle Deduct Break Time.
  4. Customize the break button text.
  5. Choose the Prompt option to allow employees to add a description when punching out, or Require to make it mandatory.

Enable Lunch

  1. Navigate to Time-Clock Module → Account Settings → Break & Lunch.
  2. Enable Lunch.
  3. If you want to deduct lunch time from employees’ paid totals, toggle Deduct Lunch Time.
  4. Customize the lunch button text.
  5. Choose Prompt for optional descriptions or Require for mandatory descriptions when punching out.
