User Profile - Compensation Tab

What can I track in the Compensation tab? The Compensation Tab can list both the Current Salary, Salary Type, & Currency as well the Salary and Bonuses History of the user.

The Compensation Tab in a user profile is a powerful tool for tracking salary and bonus information. Here’s what you can do:

What Can You Track?

  • Current Salary
  • Salary Type (e.g., hourly, annual)
  • Currency
  • Salary and Bonus History

Adding salary history will generate a graph showing salary progression over time.



How to Update Current Salary

  1. Go to Staff Module → Staff Directory.
  2. Select the user.
  3. Open the Compensation Tab.
  4. Click the Edit (green pencil) icon.
  5. Input the current salary information.
  6. Click Save (green checkmark).

How to Add Salary History

  1. In the Compensation Tab, click Add Entry.
  2. Enter:
    • Date Applied
    • Salary
    • Salary Type
    • Currency
    • Optional Note
  3. Save the entry.

You can also add historical data for past bonuses. Each entry contributes to the salary progression chart.

Sharing Salary Notes with Employees

To share salary notes:

  • Go to Staff Module → Account Settings → Staff Salary Note Display Settings.
  • Turn the toggle green to enable visibility.


Reporting

When running a Staff Information report and selecting “salary,” only the current salary will appear in the report.

Current Salary field is blank.

Current Salary field updated.
